I know many of you may have seen a lot of pictures and video from the Nashville flood disaster. Here are the ones that I took on Sunday, May 2. My wife and I had never seen anything like it. These were taken in and around our neighborhood in Bellevue, an area in west Nashville.

Now this is funny. It’s an astute and academic explanation of the Star Wars series.

I’m sure most of you have seen this by now. Usually I’m pretty sarcastic, but I found this to be adorable. Since my wife and I plan on having kids one day, I enjoyed the humor of this. Kudos to the dad for not getting upset, and instead hugging his little girl.

UPDATE (9-20-09): Obviously, you can no longer see the clip. The jerks at MLB issued a DMCA takedown notice. This clip was free publicity for a sport that REALLY needs it. They have their heads in the sand….or somewhere else.
